It wasn&#8217;t the first translation of the bible into English, and it certainly isn&#8217;t the last. However, along with the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shakespeare's_plays\">works of Shakespeare<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oxford_English_Dictionary\">Oxford English Dictionary<\/a>, it has been instrumental in forming the English language into what we use today.
