Another activity to resume after my holidays was violin lessons. I was wondering how much I’d have remembered after a few weeks without a lesson! My teacher got me to play a few scales, which seemed to go OK – well, she reckoned so anyway. She then told to play some of the exercises I’d been set. Surprisingly, I hadn’t forgotten anything, and she reckoned I was playing a lot more musically.
